TowBrite has been in business since 2016. We build and design everything purpose-built and custom to our own specifications.
TowBrite engineers all of our own electronics, molds and plastics. We buy some things from manufacturers such as connectors, wire and LED lights, and have others custom manufactured for us.
We build all of our own jigs and molds and we 3d print various components in-house.
All of our light products are hand built by family and employees in Ottawa, Canada. This includes cutting and drilling the boxes, building wiring harnesses, assembly and testing.
TowBrite started off because the owner, Nicholas Coad, had a friend in the towing industry that was constantly having difficulties with his tow lights. Having repaired a competitor's products a few times, Nicholas thought "How hard could this really be?!" Well, it was in fact pretty hard to get going. But we focused on doing everything the right way, the best way and not the cheapest or fastest way.
This focus on quality has gotten TowBrite to where it is today. It has not been an easy path, but it is rewarding to hear from happy customers almost every single day. Nicholas has travelled to a bunch of towing trade shows, met with industry leaders and manufacturers and even visited suppliers from around the world.
We are proud to be a Canadian company, manufacturing in Canada and selling around the world.
