How to store your wireless light bar during the off season | TowBrite

Tow operators are typically very familiar with how to store wireless tow lights - very simply, they don't really store them, they use them almost every single day.  At best, a tow operator will store their tow bar between calls and overnight and mostly they'll leave them plugged in to charge.

If however you work in a towing adjacent industry, you may wonder how to best store your tow lights for longer duration.  Perhaps you have a spare tow light that you do not use very frequently, or maybe you're a farmer that only uses it during hay harvesting season, or perhaps you move over size loads only a few times per year.

The answer for all these scenarios is the same.  Your tow light should be stored at room temperature and indoors.  There is no need to leave it on the charger, in fact you probably shouldn't.  The lithium batteries in tow lights should typically be charged for a few hours every few months.
